UPDATE update?
over 3 years ago – Fri, Sep 18, 2020 at 02:00:37 PM

I’m fully aware that shipping is very limited right now, folks in the US should be able to receive shipments. Everyone else, I’ll do my best to keep track of who is receiving mail from the USA and give you the choice of when it goes out.

Shipments will go out every other week. Every shipment will have tracking so far as the USPS can provide it.

UPDATE.

Welcome back to the land of dead dreams and broken promises. All the good intentions in the world at the start and through out do not justify the results. I’m ashamed of myself for what has happened. Thank you to those who have been kind enough to reach out to family and employers to share my shortcomings with them as well. I appreciate the ever impending threat of losing the ability to provide for my family. /sarcasm No sob story. You don’t deserve to be treated like that. Just one last promise, that I intend to keep, because the ones I’ve made in the past have failed miserably. I know most have little faith in any of this, it’s completely warranted. Starting next Friday and Saturday evening at 9pm MST and every weekend in like manner, I’ll be readily available to any and all of you. I’ll do what I can to converse with you, if it’s through Instagram, Facebook or here on KS. I will be working on finishing the coins you’ve all ordered. I’ll be confirming shipping addresses with all of you so that there is as minimal mail loss as possible. I WILL NOT SHIP UNLESS WE HAVE SPOKEN AND CONFIRMED AN ADDRESS. With that said, I suspect the first few nights will consist of more conversation and might slow the work, but I’m anxious to be able to work through it anyway. My goal is 20 orders per night, minimum. In association with that, engraving for those who have requested it has been resolved. You will also be given several options of font for said engraving. Because of this it might add a touch of time to our interactions so that you can finalize your address and the engraving. Consequently, reasons for even ordering are likely gone and passed, with the event or accomplishment long completed. If you feel inclined to change the date, we might be able to work that out. Again, I’m sorry for my failings. There hasn’t been a day that I haven’t thought about how to fix this. How I could rectify it. I came to the conclusion that the longer I think, the less I can do, and the only thing to do is get them into their rightful hands. I hope that despite how you feel about me or this project, you’re well. That you’ve found stability in our current state of existence. No more platitudes. No more words. Only action. Jordan.

Envelopes, everywhere.

I jumped the gun a little a couple months back thinking I was ready to ship. Found that I wasn’t, mostly because I needed to find a way to provide a nice fresh clean look for each coin when you get them. Speaking with local coin dealers and jewelers I was directed to a solution that would solve my dilemma of premature toning/oxidation. With that being said, it’s likely that they may tone a little in transit, but for you folks who ordered antiqued coins, that’s not an issue. Remember that raw materials that are susceptible will oxidize, that’ll be their charm in the long run.

Some of you may have noticed, you’ve gotten an email for a package. Congrats, I’m excited for you to see them. To the folks who got their email last night, my apologies, they’ll be one day later than quoted. I made the mistake of working on them on my couch at 3:30 am and lost consciousness. They are now packed and will begin their journey tomorrow.

Full time school, work and husband/father consumes a vast majority of time. I’m anxious to get these out, though I’m sure your anxiousness is far greater than mine. Please forgive me, I severely underestimated my available time to accomplish this project. My day starts roughly from 5:30-6:00 when I get up with my boys and have breakfast with them. I then attend classes and work until the evening when I return home and wrestle, play, read with them until bed time, a short while later. Then an hour or two is spent with my sweet wife who also thanks you for your patience with me, especially our vehicle situation that absorbed far too much time.

I guess what I’m saying is, that it’s happening, they’re shipping. They’re headed to their rightful homes. Still mostly a one man team, please forgive me if it takes me a couple weeks or so to get them all out and going.

With that being said, items will be shipped daily, larger shipments on Monday from working on them over the weekend. You will receive an email from stamps.com with a link to track your item. To my dear international folks, I’m not sure the efficacy of the tracking once it leaves the US, but I’m hoping that you’re able to track, and receive your items in a timely manner once they ship.

Below is a shot of one of the ones that’ll be going out in the next run, after being prepped to freshness!

And a little humor thanks to the brilliant humor that rattled around in Bill Amend’s head.

Reboot Shipping.

I felt that I had gotten my personal issues out of the way and into a good place where I could solely work on shipping and get them into your anxious hands. Turns out, my plans were changed for me. I had to turn parking lot mechanic once again, this time replacing the transmission in my vehicle. I've never heard of a vehicle such as mine having so many issues, but there has to be one in every batch.

My communication is poor, and I'm sorry I hadn't mentioned that I would need to focus on having transportation, to be able to provide for my family. I don't have the money for a new car, I don't have the money to pay a mechanic to do the work, so I do it myself. Although myself takes longer than a professional, I am able to do it for a fraction of the cost.

Enough of that though, it's working, I essentially have a new car after this whole mess. Your coins go out. Over the coming couple weeks you will receive emails from Stamps.com with a tracking number for your coins. There are a few that were printed and got neglected as soon as my issue presented itself. For those of you who are in that predicament, those labels should be good, and will be in transit tomorrow. The rest of you fine folks, will have them as absolutely soon as possible. The goal is in time for Christmas, even if some malarkey intrudes into my life and raises hell. I'm getting this done and done early, end of November is the ambitious goal, I really want you to have these coins. I've enjoyed making them. Now you need to enjoy having them in your hands.

Once again forgive me for the timeline I've been coerced to function upon, I cannot apologize any more than I already have, and feel like I'm running on borrowed time.
